The LIFEPAK CR2 is a defibrillator that can be safely used by laypersons. The device is activated with a single motion (by opening the lid) and then guides the user with clear audio and visual instructions. CPR support is real-time, metronomic (cprCOACH™), and the ClearVoice™ technology automatically adjusts the volume based on ambient noise. The cprINSIGHT™ analytical algorithm allows for EKG analysis and, if necessary, delivers shocks during compressions, minimizing interruptions. It can deliver up to 360 J, assessing the patient’s body resistance before shock delivery and automatically adjusting the shock energy value accordingly, thus providing a personalized intervention.
