This allows the patient to gain 8-15 seconds, as every second increases the chance of survival. The device automatically analyzes the patient’s ECG and only permits defibrillation if necessary. Its audio instructions and display guide the user step-by-step through the resuscitation process. The device is an excellent choice for locations where children are often present (e.g., schools, kindergartens) or where the arrival of emergency services may take longer.
